DUI Classifications: You can find your DUI classification from your alcohol/drug uniform report (evaluation) and choose from the following classifications. To get started with your substance abuse counseling, you will need to upload your ID along with evaluation once you choose the appropriate classification & register.

Minimal Risk

Completion of a minimum of 10 hours of Illinois DUI Risk Education

 
Course Description:
IL DUI Risk Education consists of 4 modules covering:
  • DUI Laws & Consequences
  • Symptoms of Abuse/Dependence & Triggers
  • Alcohol/Other Drugs and Their Effects
  • Change Process
Starting off with a Pre-Test, this score is not used against you, it is to see how much knowledge you have on the topics.
Each module takes 2.5 hours to complete and you can complete one module per day at most, one per week at minimum.
In the end, there is a Post-Test to review what you have learned and you need a passing score of 75% to pass.
The total hours you receive once the program is completed is 10 hours.

Moderate Risk:

Completion of a minimum of 10 hours of IL DUI Risk Education and a minimum of 12 hours of early intervention provided over a minimum of 4 weeks with no more than 3 hours per day in any 7 consecutive days.

Course Description :
The 10 hours of IL DUI Risk Education can be completed as soon as 4 consecutive days or minimum once per week.
The remaining 12 hours consists of 4 topics, 3 hours each, this includes participation in 1 zoom session.

Significant Risk:

Completion of a minimum of 10 hours of IL DUI Risk Education and a minimum of 20 hours of substance abuse treatment and after discharge, active ongoing participation in all activities specified in the continuing care plan.

Course Description :
The 10 hours of IL DUI Risk Education can be completed as soon as 4 consecutive days or minimum once per week.
The remaining 20 hours consists of 6 topics, 3 hours each, this includes participation in 2 zoom sessions.  
You will find a zoom schedule on your dashboard once registered as a student.

High Risk:

Completion of a minimum of 75 hours of substance abuse treatment and after discharge, active ongoing participation in all activities specified in the continuing care plan.

Course Description :
The 75 hours of intensive outpatient substance abuse counseling consists of 25 sessions, 3 hours each, with minimum attendance 3 times per week.
This level of care requires 1 zoom session per week. It takes 2 months at minimum to complete the 75 hours.
